Day 13
Tonight we stay in Buffalo, a small town, tucked between the rolling plains of the rugged landscape in northern Wyoming and the peaks of the Big Horn Mountains, as well as the vast Big Horn National Forest, this place is the "Old West."    where western characters such as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and  many other outlaws, holed up .
Buffalo's main street has more than a dozen historic buildings, such as the Occidental Hotel.  Jim Gatchell Museum is well worth a look with over 15,000 artifacts from the American Old West.
Many other Wyoming historical sites are just a short drive from Buffalo,  Fort Phil Kearney, Fetterman's Massacre Site, Wagon Box Fight and the infamous "Hole in the Wall"- the hideout of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid along with the rest of the "Wild Bunch." to name some
